The BCMP provides graduates with a unique opportunity to shape a management-ready career in the construction and property industries and equips them with skills that are readily transferable throughout the global economy. The specialised nature of building construction and property development provides a consistently strong demand for BCMP graduates. Starting salaries are excellent with outstanding growth potential. Careers might typically include working as a builder and/or developer, property and development consultant, on-site construction manager, project manager, quantity surveyor, facilities manager, building materials consultant or specialist legal advisor.

Professional Accreditation

Depending on the courses selected, the Bachelor of Construction Management and Property satisfies the academic requirements for admission to membership of:

  • The Australian Institute of Building (AIB) - subject to completion of the Building area of specialisation, including 80 days of approved work experience.
  • The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) - subject to completion of the Quantity Surveying area of specialisation including 6 months of approved work experience.
  • The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • The Australian Property Institute (API) - subject to completion of the Property Development area of specialisation including 80 days of approved work experience.
