UNSW Built Environment is proud to promote learning and teaching excellence and celebrated what has been achieved over the last year with a half day showcase event (24 August) and exhibition (22 - 29 August). Opened by Associate Professor Mark King (Director, Educational Delivery Services, PVCE), it included results from participants in the Faculty’s Course Design Competition, initiated in 2015; the UNSW Inspired Learning Initiative; and the Scholarship of Learning & Teaching Grants (SOLT). The Course Design Competition is part of UNSW and Faculty strategy aiming to enhance practices through blended learning, as is the Inspired Learning Initiative. SoLT Grants facilitate innovation and scholarship in learning and teaching through research assistance.

The Showcase also included a talk by Catherine Ryan, Educational Developer (PVCE) and ILI Team Lead for the Built Environment on the digital uplift process. Her presentation can be accessed below:
