Catriona Quinn’s research focuses on the practices of two Australian post-war interior designers. 
Her thesis, ‘The role of the client in Australian design history 1950-1970’, aims to broaden our understanding of the modern interior beyond narrow aesthetic values, by examining the role of the client in the production of domestic interior commissions.
