Codifying knowledge generated by the intersection of research and architectural practice: the design excellence of the contemporary court house

The objectives of the investigation are:

  • To explore how to build up an expert body of knowledge for a well-designed court house, which positively affects social and human well-being, through the intersection of practice-generated knowledge and research partnerships.
  • To propose how codified knowledge might be translated into a communicable and replicable framework and shared openly to inform future court house projects.
