The contribution of transport infrastructure to property value

This PhD research is part of the Value Australia CRC project to create data driven automatic valuation products. The tools created in this project are supported by modelling based on various land and property attributes. The focus of this work will be on accurately modelling transport infrastructure related attributes such as network accessibility with the aim to both provide more accurate valuation results based on current attributes and also the ability for planners to rapidly analyse the effects of changes to transport networks and infrastructure on the value of land. The applications are accurately capturing value uplift, more informed project selection, and better infrastructure sequencing.
