Parametric Master Planning Using Artificial Organic Simulations Through Topographical Analysis

K. Daniel Yu’s research formulates organic behaviour seen in slime molds and applies it to the master planning discipline.
‘Parametric master planning using artificial organic simulations through topographical analysis’ is the full title of the proposed thesis, with the aim to create an algorithm which can be used as both an analysis and design tool. 
This study, supervised by Associate Professor Matthias Haeusler, Dr Katrina Simons and Ms Alessandra Fabri, advances the implementation and design methodology for computational design.
