Urban pricing between investors & owner occupiers: methodology to measure house prices, risks and affordability - Part 1

Research by Rico Mangun Rahardjo is designed to invent a new set of home ownership data that could control the growth of urban form to satisfy the needs of the intended occupant rather than a speculative investor.

The data is also set to be used to help argue that the reduction of moral hazard is an advanced strategy to achieve a desirable housing affordability level and minimise market risk or real estate bubbles.

Rahardjo’s thesis, ‘Urban pricing between investors and owner occupiers: methodology to measure house prices, risks and affordability (part 1)’, is supervised by Professor Hal Pawson and Professor Bill Randolph.
