Brendan Randles

Urban Development and Design

Brendan is an award-winning architect and urban designer who has a genuine interest in the city and the culture of urban design. After graduating with a degree in Architecture at UNSW he gained a Masters of Urban Design from the Polytechnical University of Catalunya in Barcelona. He has designed large buildings and residential environments locally and internationally and recently won two City of Sydney Residential Design Competitions for sites in Ultimo and Zetland. In partnership with Architectus he has been the recipient of several awards including the PIA Award for Affordable Housing at North Eveleigh.

As part of the teaching staff in the UNSW MUDD Program, Brendan brings his years of industry experience and knowledge to provide practical and innovative instruction within the design studios. He promotes an exploration of high-quality design for new buildings, landscape and the public domain as well as a focus on sustainability and environmental responsiveness.
